New product was exactly what I expected, so I'm updating my review. Again, these are not ACTIVE stockings. Great for rest and recovery but not meant to stay in place while worn so keep that in mind.Ok, I added these to my compression arsenal this year. I'm a 15 years past ACL surgery and still play soccer two nights a week, about 8 years ago I had a cleanup surgery that resulted in an issue where I am prone to swelling that pools through the lower leg. I would generally wear antiembolism stockings but they were expensive and don't hold up well. My active sport compression is a combination of a calf sleeve and knee sleeve on that leg but I needed, well, something like what this says to wear after games and to bed that gives me solid compression.The good: The product is exactly what I wanted. I can wear around the house and the fit and performance is great, they don't stay up if I'm walking around all day but I don't expect them to do that. I wear to sleep and wake up with them generally in place and minimal post sport swelling. I went to the chart on their website, ordered, and got the large. Black fit great! 5 stars!The bad: The white, purchased a day apart and ordered the same size, don't fit great at all. I mean, clearly much smaller. Like when I wear the black and I look at my quad and thigh, it 'fits' at the top. When I wear the white it 'cuts'. This eventually leads to it rolling. I tried folding it down but its still rolls. Not something that I would have expected at all considering the fabric and the everything seems identical. I have a support call in direct to the manufacturer and will update my review.So my advice, great product, don't throw your packaging away, keep your expectations in line. This is NOT an active use leg sleeve and after looking at the market .. extensively .. I don't think there is such a thing. shame since I want compression on ONE leg! Gah! But for recovery? Ideal for overnight recovery These sleeves fit very true to the size chart. Not really for exercising in my opinion, as they slide down if you put them on wrong. I'd recommend you mostly wear them when you aren't moving, long car/plane rides, or every night when you sleep. That said I have pole vaulted and ran with them on no problem in the past, and I think they even helped with shin splints. I mostly recommend them for overnight because I've tested them on multiple occasions by wearing a sleeve on one of my legs and having my other leg as the control test. This experiment was most often performed after a day of hard running and/or lifting. Without fail, I would always feel less soreness in the leg that wore the sleeve overnight, thus I have concluded that these sleeves kick butt. It does a good job, breathable and more flexible than compression tights. Personally, this feels more comfortable.I have short legs, and the sleeves are a bit longer for me. Buy according to the size chart and it will fit well. It doesn't have left/right difference. It feels similar to compression socks, only longer.As many mentioned, it keeps falling off due to the design, not something you'd notice, but you can see after a night's of sleep. So I would avoid to use it during a run.Overall, I'd say it is a good supplement if you are tired of wearing compression tights all the time.
