They just run forever. Review: Makita is best! - Works great. I think it works better than the original one that my wife "misplaced" with two rechargeable batteries. The old one was fine but I discovered these things have a fan inside but it never kicked on in the old one and it got hot. This new charger for sure has a fan and it is very evident. Can't beat the price for this as they are usually 3 times what I paid. I consider myself fortunate that I'm not out a hundred bucks to replace something my wife threw in the trash that had no issues. Now I need to get the 18v batteries replaced and my Makita cordless stuff will be useful again. Last note...these Makita cordless tools have lasted longer than ALL the other cordless brands I have ever had and I have owned most of them. From the old Sears branded stuff to the cheap ten dollar junk you can get on the junk site that sounds like "team" and add a U to it. Just get the Makita stuff and you won't need to replace it as long as you don't over abuse it. Other brands have gotten cheaper and therefore worse over time but I love my Makita tools! ## Features - 14.4 TO 18V - 30 MIN CHARGE TIME - LITHIUM-ION 1 BATTERY - POWER TOOL CHARGER - Battery Charger ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B007VM44HU | | Amperage | 3.3 A | | Battery Charge Time | 40 minutes | | Best Sellers Rank | #94,374 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #277 in Power Tool Battery Chargers | | Brand | Makita | | Color | Black, Blue | | Compatible Devices | Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries | | Connector Type Used on Cable | Makita LXT | | Current Rating | 3.3 A | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 7,849 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00088381373562 | | Input Voltage | 120 volts | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 6.14"D x 7.48"W x 3.31"H | | Item Highlight | Rapid Optimum Charger, 18V Lithium-Ion, Built-in Fan Cooling, Also Charges 14.4V | | Item Weight | 1.9 pounds | | Manufacturer | MAKITA | | Mfr Part Number | DC18RC | | Model Number | DC18RC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 | | Output Voltage | 18 volts | | Product Dimensions | 6.14"D x 7.48"W x 3.31"H | | Specification Met | UL | | UPC | 088381373562 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Makita - **Color:** Black, Blue - **Item Weight:** 0.83 kg - **Output Voltage:** 18 volts - **Product Dimensions:** 6.14"D x 7.48"W x 3.31"H ## Images ![B1195090 Charger, , 18V Lithium-Ion Rapid - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617+MWMSRaL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend well worth the price *by B***N on September 17, 2026* How can you go wrong with a charger?
