## Description

Many styles of Martial Arts use the makiwara to teach proper body posture, power generation and precision. The makiwara is very versatile, and you can practice open-hand and closed-hand strikes, elbow and knee strikes and kicks with it. The white canvas makiwara board is designed to enhance the toughness and strength of your hands and feet. It teaches to follow through with your strike. It is constructed with a durable duck canvas exterior and filled with a robust 1-inch thick high-density shock-absorbing foam. The unit can be securely affixed using the four mounting holes located at the corners or can be held by a partner during use. It also features an impressive dragon design on the canvas. Experience the forceful strike on the clapper makiwara! The slotted hardwood base produces a clapping noise upon impact, while the spring coils within the wood enhance tension for a more challenging exercise. The faux leather-covered foam padding on the front minimizes the impact. Simple to mount on a wall. This is most suitable for honing the techniques of cocking back.
