He uses a urethane hammer, but who carries those? I used the sole of my shoe to give 3 firm taps to the right side of this lock. Voila, the lock doesn't lock anymore. * Poof * Fifty bucks spent, and gone! My advice: this isn't the lock for you if you really need lasting security. For that, I recommend a padlock without any electronics. However, I do still use a fingerprint lock when I only need a couple hours of security in a frequent use setting where the convenience of fingerprint unlocking outweighs the risk of easy break-ins. Probably not everybody would make the same decision. ### ⭐⭐ Ugh, Maybe Give This One A Pass… *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2021* Okay, so, I really love the concept behind this lock (obviously, a sleekly-designed mini biometric lock for luggage and such is appealing); however, in my attempts to try to put this lock to some use, I’ve been stymied at every turn.The fingerprint reader is just really…not good. At any given time, I am utterly uncertain as to whether it will be able to read any of the four different fingerprints I’ve “taught” it (and I have added four to try and make sure it will be able to read at least one!). Just this fact is a big enough bummer in itself, but one that I could begrudgingly deal with, as lifting one’s finger up and placing it down again on the reader takes no great time or effort; however, every time the reader “rejects” your print, it emits a surprisingly loud and very annoying trio of angry beeps. As far as I can figure (there’s very little technical information available from the manufacturer), these beeps can’t be switched off, nor can you even lower the volume of the beeping.I truly believe that you would need to possess a superhuman level of patience in order to resist succumbing to fits of brain-melting, spine-rattling rage as your eardrums are assaulted by three horrific demon-beeps—quite obviously engineered in GarageBand by Satan himself—and rejected, over and over and over again by your own property, until it is finally able to function correctly.I hate to be the wet blanket here because I love silly, unnecessary, and over-designed gadgetry, and I wanted very, very much to love this little bugger; however, I feel I must opine that any sane human desirous of retaining the aforementioned sanity should most definitely just move on with life and leave this here, for it shall bring you neither joy nor peace, only endless woe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok for gym *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 8, 2021* It’s ok.
