Definitely use base and to coat to keep from chipping but I like that china glaze is rarely to sticky or streaky, and dries fairly quickly. Unfortunately, the color was not for me, however it is beautiful. Would recommended for a beach trip.

A: No, there is a slight glitter to it. It's a really pretty nail polish. It's very elegant but not over the top. I recommend it.

I bought this polish to replace an old discontinued shade of a different brand (China Girl by Pure Ice). I couldn't find anything close until I found this. Not only is it a perfect color dupe, but the quality is better. It is very shiny, almost iridescent and lasted days longer than anything else does on my fingernails. Would absolutely buy this brand again.
