**Q: How hard is it to open? Can kids open the package?**
A: Assuming these are human kids with opposable thumbs, I would say yes.

**Q: What is the size of each of these blankets?**
A: 1 meter X 1 meter each. That’s about 39 in X 39 in.

**Q: Does this blanket comply with astm f-1989-05(2013)?**
A: The blanket is marked "CE Standard: BS EN 1869:1997" which apparently covers a range of fire situations. Supposedly good for one-time use and has a shelf life of 7 years. I keep mine in the kitchen although it might be better in bedroom? Guess I should have bought a second.

**Q: Where are the blankets manufactured?**
A: People's Republic of China.  I will say they are made well and are very effective.  My son had a grease fire and it immediately put the fire out!  Ordered him a replacement immediately.
