desertcart.com : Godox ES45 Desktop LED Key Light for Streaming&Video Calls, Soft Dimmable | 2800K-6500K, Magnetic Remote, App Control, Extendable Clamp Stand, Flicker-Free Light for YouTube, Twitch, Zoom&Home Office : Electronics

Review: Best desktop key light for streaming — soft, flicker-free, no desk clutter - Huge panel = genuinely soft light. No harsh shadows, no eye strain on long streams or Zoom calls, and zero flicker on camera. The 2800K–6500K bi-color range matches any setup, and it dims smoothly from 0–100%. The magnetic remote is genius — snap it on the light or control from your chair. Clamp stand extends to ~39”, sets up in minutes, and keeps tripods off your floor. Dead silent cooling, so it’s perfect for recording and calls. If you stream on Twitch, make YouTube videos, or just want to look better on webcam, buy this first.
Review: Wow such a powerful light - What a great key light for video streaming but honestly it’s strong enough that I want to test it out in some of my indie projects. The power and range of temperature is awesome for my needs. 2800k - 6500k The controller having ability to be removed from unit and controlled at a distance makes this so versatile. The table mount is nice and solid but I’m excited to try on a camera stand. For the price this is really nice! Godox delivers again for me.

## Features

- 【Look Your Best on Every Stream】Godox ES45 key light uses a soft, diffused panel to gently illuminate your face, minimizing harsh shadows and uneven highlights. The result? Smooth, glowing skin and a professional on-camera presence that keeps your viewers focused on your content — not the lighting. Whether you're on Twitch, YouTube, or Zoom, your face always looks polished and "camera-ready."
- 【Gentle Soft Light Designed for Long Sessions】Staring at a screen for hours is hard enough, harsh lighting makes it worse. Godox designed the ES45 streaming light specifically with streamers and esports players in mind: its edge-lit OLED panel delivers glare-free, evenly diffused illumination at an optimal angle. The soft light reduces eye fatigue, so you can game, stream, or work comfortably all day without that tired, strained feeling.
- 【Magnetic Auto-Charging Remote – Total Control Within Reach】The included remote controller attaches magnetically to the back of the light panel when not in use, and detaches in seconds when you need it. Using 2.4G wireless technology, it lets you adjust brightness and color temperature in real-time — no need to reach behind the light or interrupt your stream. When you're done, simply snap it back onto the panel and it recharges automatically. No separate batteries to worry about.
- 【Adjustable Brightness & Color Temperature for Any Setup】Dial in your ideal look with 0-100% dimming and a wide 2800K to 6500K color range. Whether you need a warm 2800K glow to match your room's ambient lighting, or crisp 6500K daylight to show true-to-life skin tones, the ES45 key light adapts to your environment. Adjust it to complement your backdrop, balance with your other lights, or simply find your most flattering angle — it's all at your fingertips.
- 【Clean Desk, Simple Setup, Expandable Control】Godox ES45 keylight comes with an extendable clamp stand that attaches securely to desks up to 2 inches (5.0 cm) thick — no tools required. Its thoughtful design keeps cables hidden and your workspace tidy, giving you a sleek, professional-looking setup. Plus, with the Godox Light App or by setting matching channels and groups, you can control multiple ES45 key lights simultaneously, creating a full multi-light streaming studio.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow such a powerful light

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great hardware with slim documentation
*by J***. on June 27, 2026*

I've been very pleased with my Godox ES45 lights. I purchased two and mounted one on each side of my desk. Setup was straightforward, including installing the app and connecting the lights via Bluetooth. The lights also include wireless remotes that pair directly with each fixture. While the remotes work well, I primarily use the Godox app because it allows me to control each light individually or both lights simultaneously. The included C-clamp mounting system is simple, sturdy, and easy to install. Overall, the light output is excellent, and the brightness and color temperature controls provide plenty of flexibility for my workspace. My only significant criticism is the documentation. The instructions for pairing and configuring the included remotes are extremely limited, and the remote settings cannot be managed through the Godox Light app. As a result, I had to rely on trial and error to configure the remotes the way I wanted. Overall, the hardware and lighting performance are excellent. With clearer documentation for the remotes, this would easily be a five-star product.
