I cannot say if it will work in the Mazda 3 because I installed in a Mazda 5. **Q: Do these colors really match, the power wire on my master plug is red but on the harness it’s yellow, does that mean the yellow is my power wire?** A: No yellow is so the radio will hold its memory. Look it up on YouTube to find the correct wire positions. **Q: Does this include 1p and 1n wires for the swc to work?** A: When connecting steering controls you will need to connect to the factory side of the wiring harness. These pins are not on the 70-7903 harness. **Q: Does this fit a 2003 Mazda 6?** A: The correct kit to install an aftermarket radio in this vehicle is the 99-7523S.
