I thought I was only buying the paddle attachment given the price but it comes with the handle too. After trying the paddle, I decided the 2.4 inch barrel would give my hair more fullness so I bought the attachment. I got the handle and two attachments for less than $50! I originally purchased a less expensive brand that didn't have adequate airflow and took forever to dry my hair which defeats the purpose. This one step volumizer leaves my hair feeling more sleek than the other brand and dries and styles my hair in half the time. On the high setting, it is a bit loud but still comparable to using a blow dryer. The attachment has a knob at the end that helps with styling and stays cool to the touch. A definite improvement over the previous model I had that got so hot it would burn my hand as I tried to hold it. I like being able to change the attachments and as long as the handle continues to work, only needing to purchase a new attachment down the road instead of the whole set up!
