Needs change, cameras change, toys (Drones / Go pro) are added, and there never seems to be a perfect bag, but this one comes very close. I recently owned a Loka 50L F-stopcamera bag. This was a very rugged bag, but very big, bulky and not well compartmented. This Manfrotto bag (I got the large) is well sized - not bulky, VERY padded and comfortable, well compartmented, AND all the shoulder belts and wist straps hide neatly back in slots on the backpack, so you dont have things dangling everywhere if you just want to carry it or slide it over a suitcase handle (yes - it has a trolley strap - very nice!).I have a DJI drone, controller and 3 batteries innthe zippered top compartment, and 35mm with 4 lenses in the main bay - with 2 slots open for chargers, aceessories.FANTASTIC BAG! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best camera bag ever invented! *by W***Y on January 20, 2022* I’ve had this bag for three years now and have taken it to many states and countries. It has withstood rocky hikes, wet waterfalls and nasty hiking accidents. It holds my massive manfrotto tripod perfectly. I have also been able to mount the DJI Inspire 2 to the outside using the mounting points which is crazy. My phantom 4 pro fit perfectly in it, as well as my Sony A7iii and lens kit. Right now I have the RED Weapon cinema camera rigged up packed in here along with my Sony kit, tripod and M1 MacBook Pro. I verified it can fit 13 to 16 inch. Best bag I’ve ever bought. If this one breaks like 8 years from now due to my heavy abuse and the fact that it’s carrying 60 pounds of gear on multi day hikes through the desert, I’ll buy another. It’s incredible for the price. Way cheaper than the other similar bags but way more versatile. The thing is comfortable too! Super easy to lug around 40-80 lbs of gear. But I did add a sternum strap, without one carrying that much weight would be very hard. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mostly good: Would recommend *by R***S on July 29, 2018* Having just bought a new digital camera and several lenses, I needed a bag that contained compartments to house things.So after buying this, I have some thoughts.Pros:It does exactly what it's designed to do; it keeps components separated and cushioned.It has compartments that allow you to put normal items in there like cords, pens/pencils, wallet, passport, laptop, etc.It has plenty of zippers to get in and out of each compartment, except the inner-most compartments, which is good for protecting sensitive items.It's pretty light for the size of the backpack.All around solid frame to maintain the shape.Plenty of ways to pick up the backpack, which helps a lot when traveling on planes, trains, buses, etc.Cons:1. This item is both a pro and con... The compartments are adjustable in size because of the velcro edges. While I made use of this, I notice that the material on the side will deteriorate fairly quickly if you frequently adjust the walls of your compartments. Also, this velcro scratches your hands as you put things in and take things out of the compartments. I think a better system could be developed, like snaps or zippers or buttons... just something other than velcro.Bottom line, the pros far outweigh the cons, and I was able to use this backpack all around Australia and New Zealand.
