How to use it - Stir slowly into acrylic color, using no more than 10% paint to 90% medium. Works best with Soft Body Acrylic and Acrylic Ink. Leave color to completely dry before curing. Cure in the oven for 30 minutes at 300°F / 150°C. Fully compatible with all Liquitex materialsHow not to use it - Do not thin with water. If foam appears when stirring, leave the mixture to sit while the bubbles rise and disappear. Review: Glass problems solved - finally! - One quick note: if the open time isn’t long enough you can spray on some createx 4011 since you can’t use water - ok: I’ve spent sooooo much money on every product possible to create professional custom faceted glass jewelry. Most Primers are too thick & cover the facets. createx which is a great product for airbrushing but it’s been too cold to airbrush & too messy to do inside. This stuff was sitting on a shelf for a year - I was about to give up when I put it in with some acrylic ink - dipped in my brush and voila - it’s amazing - the open time is perfect, it slides on so smoothly and evenly. 2 coats and I have solved the glass mystery forever!

**Q: i am not using an airbrush, but i need thin non-glossy glazes. would this work? thanks**
A: I know this is late,but I use Golden Airbrush medium to thin my paint for glazes.

**Q: Can this be used to thin (Vallejo) Acrylic-Polyurethane liquid primers (for miniatures)?**
A: I don't know. From what I hear you can use it to thin just about any acrylic-based paint. However, not sure how the polyurethane in the primer would react. I think a good test would be to mix it up and see. Start with the primer in a mixing cup (couple of drops), then add the airbrush medium a drop at a time (mixing each time and checking consistency, clumping, etc). If you get a good mix without clumps and about the consistency of low-fat milk, you should be able to apply through an airbrush. I would recommend testing on a test plate to see how it adheres before using it on your finish piece! Good Luck.

**Q: *For those who used both products*, please: Is this different different from pouring effect medium?**
A: The "Pouring effect medium" has more control, but the flow aid is mainly used for completely liquefying the paint, while keeping consistent color I have used this with airbrush art, and mixing effects with other Liquitex/other brand acrylic mediums.  On a more casual, non-air-brush point of view:  This can totally thin paint, but there is other stuff out there, that will suit your needs.  BONUS**  This works wonders if you 1. need a shorter drying time OR 2. Have lesser quality acrylic in old tubes and want to turn out well.

**Q: I have createx airbrush paint for nail art.  The problem is it air comes out but no paint.  Ive cleaned the needle still no paint spray.**
A: The number of reasons why your air brush is not working is huge.  I would try and verify that you can shoot water through the air brush, if you can, the you can fiddle with air pressure, or thin the paint, or clean the brush, or go to a larger tip size.

Crystal clear and easy to use... This is a fabulous medium product. Most recently, I used it as a protective layer; I poured a thin coat over my glass "window"... It dried "crystal clear"... did this to protect the faux-leaded and painted side of a small piece of glass (for a dollhouse "window" that I leaded and painted) ... it is now ready to mount into the dollhouse wall.
