This lamp is very cute. I bought it to replace a smaller IKEA light that had a similar style. But we had problems from day one. Starting with the fact the the charging port is on the bottom of the cat. That makes it very hard to charge while it's in use. And each charge barely lasted before it would need to be plugged in again. It was also difficult to get the cat to change colors because you use the power button. It would often take several tries to get it to stay on the color changing. All of that would have been bearable to deal with, but we haven't even had the light for 6 weeks yet and it seems to have stopped working completely. All it would do last night was briefly flicker in a dim white light. I had to turn it off because it scared my daughter. I wish I'd spent a little bit more and replace the original lamp I had that lasted 4+ years.

This kitty is so cute and colorful. I keep her on all day at work and get a lot of compliments. It's really beautiful how the colors fade and change. The only drawback is the plug to charge kitty is on the bottom toward the back, so if you want it upright while charging, you'll have to perch kitty on something with her backend hanging off (I usually have her on a little box). But that's incidental compared to the brightness she brings to my office cube. I don't know how long a charge lasts, because I often just leave her plugged in during work hours.

This ia my second one. They both lasted a very short time. This time I removed the LED base and tapped the board and to my surprise it worked again. The electric component s are not very good but when it is working its very cute. Good nightlight. Just don't be surprised if it stops working.

😥😓😪 This was totally cute and seemed to work well when it first arrived. (I'm an adult with ASD and hyper-vigilance, so I HAVE to sleep with some sort of ambient light in order to fall asleep and STAY asleep.) The second week we had it it kept shutting off after only an hour after being FULLY charged. After this continually happening I then tried leaving the USB charger plugged in and leaving it on at night. After an hour- it turned off again. After it continually could not keep a charge, NOR would it change colors when "tapped" in the entire time we had it, we decided to say good bye to this soft cute kitty friend and return him. Sad, because he was such a good fit at first. Sadly to say my search continues for a new soft light that is rechargeable and holds its charge. 😔😔😔

Where the charger cord is. Dumb. Can’t charge it and use it without it being half hanging off the ledge. ALL CHINESE instructions and nothing in English, no booklet. Even the Box all in CHINESE! But I really wanted it so I got it quickly with my birthday money. Bad buy. The only Plus, it’s a Cat.

I've already purchased six of these lamps for myself and friends and will likely buy more. They're easy to clean, bright, and adorable! I've started taking mine with me to parties and concerts because who doesn't love an adorbable color-changing rave cat? I also use this lamp at home and in the car. Perfect to carry when you gotta go into a spooky basement or if you want to eat some 2am fast food in a dark parking lot. It's become my new favorite thing and the light just puts everyone in a good mood. Add some music to the color-changing mode and you have an instant cat party! Best $13 ever spent!Easy to charge, easy to clean, easy to use, and everyone loves it.

This item is ridiculously cute and soothing. I bought it for myself- my kids are grown and I have no grandkids yet. And I have to tell you, this grown-up woman loves this nightlight. The directions (written in amusing Engrish) tell you to tap the side to start the color change. I found that with mine at least, it needed a tap on the bottom. I love this silly thing. Highly recommended.

When I got the item it was much smaller than I expected. So do look at the measurements before purchasing. It's really soft and sensitive to the touch. Wonderful for kids to play with. It's perfect as night light for me. Giving 4 stars because the cat face I got was different than the one I ordered.
