It says that it is “Heat Resistant” but not sure how you want to use it on top of the cooktop! I would think it would not keep its flatness (shape)! **Q: Is this bendable enough to use it in a pan to make a mold for epoxy?** A: Mine was shipped rolled up so that's pretty bendable. I guess it would depend on the size and shape of the intended mold. **Q: Could I paint a message, like a quote on this, that will stay on. Not get rubbed or washed off. Sort of like a sign to hang up ?** A: Sorry, not 100% sure. If using paint, I would assume it would crack and not stay on. Permanent Marker might be a better option. I clean my firearm’s on them and the residue from the cleaning will wash off pretty easily with goo be gone or most other cleaners.
