How is anyone having success with downward dog?** A: As I don’t know the physical challenges you may have, I will only speak for myself. I would do downward facing dog with the lower level of the wrist buddy and at that level, I don’t experience any instability and the wrist buddy is certainly more supportive than a regular block and less stressful than the floor. That said, I personally would not use the wrist buddy for downward facing dog simply because I can do this posture without them. This may simply come down to what works for one person does not work for another. I suspect that you have physical issues which just don’t make these blocks the right choice for you. **Q: Is it formamide free?** A: After checking, I have found that formamide is not present in Wrist Buddy yoga blocks because they must have a higher density and hardness to support the user's full or partial body weight. They are a good size for me, an adult woman of short/medium height. The material is soft and comfortable. I do have a concern about this item easily getting damaged though. Even when I was opening the packaging for the first time, I managed to indent/damage the blocks with my medium/short length nails in the process. Overall, I would recommend for folks who need a little help with some yoga poses.
