Textured and soft. Off-white. - Color accurately depicted in photos - Leather - Fun to write in - Unruled paper - I personally enjoy righting on black paper, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking for a journal with ruled paper, this is not the journal for you.Cons: - Delicate. The pages seem bound in with very delicate twine. I would have opt for something more sturdy. No pages have fallen out, but this product should be handled with care. Though, this is somewhat to be expected. - As you may have read in other reviews, the page number listed should be halved. They may have fixed this but double check. I chose to go with this 100 page journal and glad I did, especially if you consider the small page size. - Pages bleed ink. The leather strap does good to keep the journal closed and the size is perfect to keep hidden away if needed. The pages are an off white but it is clean when writing on it. The pages are rough on the edge and not all are perfectly shaped, but it will not bother you at all. It just adds a unique touch to the product. The pages are put in together but sections, but my mother likes that because it can help keep her recipes organized. The company is polite and kind and offer amazing customer service!Cons: On the back, (I believe), there is the company logo imprinted in the leather. It's small and is it not noticeable. If you run your hands along it might be the only way you'll remember that it is there!This product is amazing and the quality is great.
