It does best on hard surfaces like wood, tile or linoleum, although it can run, albeit more slowly, on low pile carpet. Obviously, it's meant to be run on the track but my child gets a kick out of them "escaping" across the floor from time to time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Thomas & Friends Motorized Toy Train Nia Battery-Powered Engine with Cargo for Pretend Play Preschool Kids Ages 3+ Years - Thomas & Friends Motorized Toy Train Emily Battery-Powered Engine with Tender for Pretend Play Preschool Kids Ages 3+ Years --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/364720781-thomas-and-friends-motorized-toy-train-nia-battery-powered-engine](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/364720781-thomas-and-friends-motorized-toy-train-nia-battery-powered-engine) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
