## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this timer turn lights on at dusk and off at dawn?**
A: Yes. In dusk-to-dawn mode, the light sensor turns connected lights on at night and off in daylight. Keep the sensor uncovered and away from direct lamp light.

**Q: Can it turn off after a few hours instead of all night?**
A: Yes. Choose 2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H. The timer turns on at dusk and shuts off after the selected time. 8 hours is the maximum countdown setting.

**Q: Is it suitable for Christmas lights and outdoor string lights?**
A: Yes. It works well for holiday lights, porch lights, yard lights, and landscape lighting, as long as the total load stays within the rated capacity.

**Q: Why do my lights turn on and off repeatedly?**
A: This may happen if the sensor sees light from the connected lamps, porch lights, car headlights, or reflections. Move the timer so the sensor faces natural ambient light.

**Q: Can this timer be used in rainy outdoor areas?**
A: Yes, when installed properly. Plug it into a grounded outdoor outlet, keep it off the ground, avoid standing water, and do not submerge the timer.
