I was a bit hesitant to purchase it, but once they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. The presentation is delightfully appropriate and premium. One thing to note is the box is rather large - considering the pieces are fairly big too. Just as in the photos, they do "shine" as well. I must say that they are in fact weighted - just the right amount I was hoping for. Each piece comes with a nice felt at the bottom, and their own little cut out within the box so you can store them there after a game or safely move them about. All in all, if you're looking for a quality set of chess pieces to add to your collection or combine with your board, they'll make an excellent addition.
