I have looked at kitchen towels for a while with no success. These are good sized, durable and absorbent towels. I was looking for kitchen towels that I could wash with bleach. No matter how soiled they are, they always come out of the wash perfectly white. Also, the color band will not run. I have used these for the past six months, washing them once a week.

If I could give these 10 stars, I would.  I got lots of cute dish towels when I got married.  You know where they are?  In the closet.  These are the towels that are in my kitchen.  They are used day in and day out.  They dry a sink full of dishes, and don't leave lint all over everything.  The are amazing.  I use them for EVERYTHING.  They are good for leaving out to dry dishes on.  They are good for lining bowls to put bread and fruit in.  They are good for drying hands and looking nice enough to leave out on a drawer handle.  Have a big spill?  They'll handle that.  When they're done, pull out another one.  Get stinking dirty because you use them for everything?  Bleach those suckers!  They are a-freaking-mazing!

I bought the towels with the green stripes.  The material is quite poor quality, in my opinion.  Many small dark and other color threads running throughout.  Also, there were runs and frayed areas in the material.  I have washed them according to the companies directions.  They did not appear to shrink.  I am not certain yet about there absorbency, sometimes it takes more than one washing to tell.  Very disappointed in this product.  I also emailed the company to let them know.  They say they will respond within 24 hrs. But that has not happened.
