Review: I Love It!! - To be honest I don’t need it for the heating function because that’s not a problem where I live, I was wanting it more for ambiance for the bedroom. It’s beautiful, the perfect size for my bedroom and I love it. You can adjust the brightness of the fire, you can adjust the temperature of the heat, or just not have the heat on at all like me, you can set a timer to it so it can shut off after you fall asleep, and it’s easy to assemble. It took me more time finding the instructions than it did to put it together. *NOTE. This comes in 3 boxes (2 boxes inside of a bigger box) and the instructions are inside the bigger outer box. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy, especially with the price.

We were wanting to turn it into a sitting room so we’d have a bit more living area, and this little fireplace is perfect!! It heats the entire porch so well and we don’t even have to turn it up all the way. The room is on the smaller side, 12x8. The vents at the top do get really hot when the heat is running and we were worried about our son getting burnt if he touched it, but so far he has stayed away. The remote is a nice touch too! I think the flame looks the most realistic on the lowest setting, but there are 3 different levels. You also have the option of the flame with no heat so if you just want it for effect, that’s possible. Money well spent.

**Q: Does this unit have a thermostat so that a desired temp can be selected and the unit will cycle on and off to maintain that temp?**
A: @seller it says it does just that in the description. Can you clarify because that's the reason I want to purchase it. It says quote"ADAPTIVE START & PERIODIC TIMING: With periodic timing from 0.5 to 6 hours, you can easily control the heating time of this electric fire place heater even when you sleep. Choose the temperature you desire and the heater will automatically turn on when the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, and stopping when it's higher"

**Q: Is the bulb replaceable?**
A: Not quite sure what bulb you’re speaking of, but the heater and the lighted screen in it are pretty self-contained. I wouldn’t recommend taking it apart to try to replace anything.

We live in an apartment with a gas fireplace that doesn’t put out much heat, times out after running for 10 minutes, and makes our entire home smell like propane. It’s worthless. We really wanted a working fireplace so I got this one for my family and it’s perfect.
