The zipper is pretty sturdy - I have not had issues with closing it. And I love the different patterns you can purchase -- I purchased the cat bag, and love it. My one complaint: I wish there was a reinforcement padding (like there is on the bottom of the bag) on the side of the bag which touches the floor when the bag is upright and being pulled by the handle. That would keep the side of the bag from wearing down over time. I see other companies that think this through and make adjustments. I hope this company does the same.
