I removed the tip - which its a nice tip and rather hard to remove (I used screw drivers) and put a wider based tip for all terrain walking , it fits the standard tip size. I got compliments on this cane, people wanted to know where I got it. Of course, desertcart, that is where everyone in Alaska shops ! It arrived in a half a week. You can not send a letter across town that fast! I feel dressed up with my new cane. I also feel a lot safer. I will probably get more.
