One and done! Now, for those of you that are camping or emergency situation PROS - go ahead, laugh at me. I do feel a bit silly for not knowing! However, I don't think I'm alone on this - so for those of you that think you're going to buy these and be able to use them over and over again like I thought - this information would be good for you to know! Fortunately, I did not actually have to use an emergency blanket, so UN-fortunately, I cannot personally tell you how well they work on that front. I don't regret purchasing them because I do feel that they are good to have in your emergency 'kit' or in your car on a road trip, etc. Also, I love how small and thin they are [folded up] in the packaging - it makes storage super easy and they take up practically no space! At the time of purchase, and also at the time of writing this review, it does not mention in the description anywhere that they are one-use only. Maybe it's common knowledge, but I would have given five stars if it had that crucial piece of info in the description! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mylar Blanket *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2016* I love, love these. Used them on my bedroom windows it kept the room in Arizona, non the less from getting to hot in the afternoon when it got super hot do to sun shining directly in my room. I could still look outside but nobody could see into my room from the ouside.I also had to sleep out in the desert when I went to the Grand canyon in the end of March so I decided to try on my car windows. Cut rThem to the size of my HHR windows and was able to stay in my car during the day and it was not to hot. I slept at night and kept peeping eyes from looking in my car. I also bought fruits and vegetables including avacodos, wrapped them all in a towel them wrapped them in these mylar blankets and after 8 days in the Arizona desert in my car, I was pleasingly shocked that nothing had spoiled and only the cilantro wilted a little but was still edible. The tomatoes looked like they did the day I bought them, so did the onions and serrano peppers and some of the avacodos had not even ripened yet.Great stuff this Mylar blanket. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The space blanket that is not limited to emergencies *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2015* I took a chance on these blankets and I came out ahead! When I was preparing my emergency kit for the next great earthquake that will devastate Southern California, I figured I have to have at least one on hand so I felt I settled for these - to my surprise, what came in the mail was better than I anticipated.The four-pack of space blankets is self-explanatory - each one is a "QuiteEZ" branded 52 by 84 inch Aluminum and Mylar sheet that can easily wrap itself to all but the largest bodies and if that is a problem, you could use duct tape to make it larger. They arrive individually packaged and folded into something that is not larger than a man’s wallet and unfolds to become the most versatile tool in your emergency kit - you do have one on hand right? Far it be to tell how to live your life but if you live in a area where earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, snow storms will force to hunker down or leave your home at a moments notice will you have the basics to live as comfortably as you can for a few days? If you plan right, exposure will be the least of your problems.If you have done your research, these blankets can be so much more. They do an excellent job of keeping you warm in cold climates and are inherently water-proof in case you are without shelter. They are very reflective for easy detection and signaling and not opaque enough that you cannot see through them - which unfortunately can be a problem. For better or worse, the blanket is not much thicker than onionskin and tears easily once a tear gets started - keep some duct tape around if you want to extend the life of the blanket. According a Wikipedia article, space blankets could also be repurposed into shelters and bedding for animals and be used to escape infrared detection.These are wonderful to have around and a necessity for any emergency kit. With four on hand, you have enough for your family or a couple extras for sharing and other projects if you are the do-it-yourself projects posted on the internet and written in books. Depending how bad things become you may find yourself a day or two without the comforts of home, which will only be compounded if its fall or winter.
