It has a few mV of noise which is load dependent. In my case I am using this in a supply for a measuring microphone. The mic needs super clean 120V at a couple mA, and super clean 200 V at no current. To clean the output up I used a Sziklai pair capacitance multiplier to get the noise down into the uV range plus an RC filter for the polarizing voltage. **Q: Schematic of this product.** A: I was not able to find a schematic for the power supply circuit. Would have to reverse engineer the board to get the circuit. **Q: What is required for it to work?** A: A 12 volt DC 1A wall wart powers this just fine. **Q: Exactly what type of transformer is needed for the high voltage dc-dc boost power supply converter module?** A: All you need as a "wall wart" that plugs into the AC wall socket and delivers 12 volts DC. Cut and remove the coax plug from the wall wart's cord. Check polarity and connect the + lead with to red and - to black. A wall wart rated at 1 amp is enough as long as your HV load does not draw more than about 30mA.
