When you spend thousands of dollars on granite, you don't just want the cheapest sink you can find. I design and remodel for a living, I would absolutely offer this to a client after having it in my kitchen. The black stainless finish looks great with my countertops and appliances. I was very hesitant about purchasing this sink after I had seen the reviews for the stainless steel option. I even ordered a Kraus sink to compare this one with and honestly I liked the look of this one better! Ok sure, it is not as thick as the Kraus sink was, but It has yet to scratch. I order the Kraus in stainless steel because I was unsure of the finish I wanted. Stainless steel is going to scratch, I don't care how much money you spend on it. I had to be realistic when making my choice of sinks. I did a couple of surface tests on each sink and yeah the stainless without being mounted and gently cleaning it, scratched immediately. My sink has been in for 3 months now and I have put it through hell and back in my kitchen. I have an InSinkErator disposal attached to it and even though it is not as thick as the Kraus, it does just fine with the weight of it. Cutting board, Colander, drying rack, and the grates for the bottom! So amazing and seriously I do not know how I lived without them in the past! The sinks drain great and are easy to keep clean! Not sure where all the other bad reviews are coming from but I do think there are a lot of people with unrealistic expectations. If you are one of those people, don't do stainless and PURCHASE THIS SINK! I am sure there are better sinks for $1,500.00, ok I know there are. If you are not looking to break the bank on your sink like I wasn't, then take a chance. Order this sink and a couple of other ones, send back the ones you don't want. Simple. Review: Pleasantly surprised - I love my sink. Wasn’t what I wanted at first but I chose this sink as a last resort but I still researched and read reviews. I bought and installed it a few months ago, and it started rusting right away, and now I have no clue what can be done. Regarding a cutting board, I put another one I had on the top, and I’m assuming that is why my cutting board is still ok. Sad, everything is bad and sad about this sink. **Q: Do you have an 8 inch deep model? I purchased the 10 inch deep one and I’m being told that is too deep for my kitchen drain** A: I have the 10 inch deep model. Talk to some at the plumbing parts store. Take accurate measurements of where your drain line comes out of the wall and the distance from the end of the tailpiece to the floor of the cabinet. If you have a garbage disposal on one of the sink drains you will most likely need some additional plumbing parts. You may even have to shorten the tailpiece one one of the sin drains. **Q: Bokaya please advise why you advertise stainless steel when it rusts after one week? Who is going to pay for this to be returned??** A: Not my problems ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lots of bang for the buck! *by C***R on February 22, 2022* When considering a kitchen remodel, lots of key things to consider with the sink being one of them. The only thing that I will say is if you have a garbage disposal know that it does not come with that piece for garbage disposal opening only a drain so you will need to purchase the ring that goes around for the garbage disposal to match the color but that’s a very easy fix less than $20 in hardware store. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/368733936-33x19-black-undermount-double-bowl-kitchen-sink-50-50](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/368733936-33x19-black-undermount-double-bowl-kitchen-sink-50-50) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
