It says it’s uv fabric, I don’t know how to test for that but I don’t seem to get burned when I use it. I know you can still get burned from reflected uv in shade but as far as getting burned like I’m not using anything, I haven’t experienced that with this. Has a matching cover and elastic wrist loop. It does a good job with rain but what I got it for was UV blocking and it does that FABULOUSLY!!!
