## Description

The FlexiFreeze Ice Vest is the lightest (3.5lbs), thinnest, best performing, most cost effective cooling vest available today. With FlexiFreeze Freezable Ice Sheets integrated into its foundation, the patented FlexiFreeze Ice Vest harnesses the power of 96 pure water ice cubes into 3 ½ pounds of body core cooling efficiency. FlexiFreeze Ice Sheets are made with pure water because it is far and away the most efficient cooling medium. Since water is a more efficient coolant than chemical based gel packs, and all other phase change materials, the FlexiFreeze Ice Vest can be lighter (3.5Lbs), thinner and more flexible than other vests while still providing more cooling power. The vest is constructed from neoprene to provide soft, flexible, lightweight insulation which shields the ice sheets from the ambient high temperatures and focuses its cooling power on the user. At less than 1" thick, the vest allows for maximum mobility and flexibility. Each vest is outfitted with three freezable, removable panels that are attached with Velcro for quick and easy replacement. Adjustable in four locations, the FlexiFreeze Ice Vest is designed to provide a snug fit everyone from XS to 6X. The vest and panels are machine washable with ice sheets removed. Designed for many uses, the FlexiFreeze Ice Vest is ideal for individuals who work in heat stress related occupations; who are heat sensitive due to Multiple Sclerosis or other medically related reasons or those who like to play where its hot! The vest is also great for everyday tasks on hot days such as gardening, mowing the lawn, walking the dog and more. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does it last?**
A: Cooling times depend on factors such as ambient temperatures, humidity level, physical exertion, and body mass. As a general guideline, the each frozen panel set will provide cooling for about 1.5 hrs. Additional panel sets can extend time duration.

**Q: Why Ice? Isn't there a more advanced chemical?**
A: Water, when changing phase from a solid (ice) to a liquid, is the most efficient material in absorbing heat.

**Q: My Ice Vest is melting already. Is it working correctly?**
A: Yes, it is working perfectly. Heat is removed from the body when the ice vest is melting, or changing phase from a solid to a liquid. As long as there is the tiniest sliver of ice in the cubes, it is removing heat from the body.

**Q: How do I wash my Ice Vest?**
A: The Ice Vest is machine washable after the ice sheets are removed. To remove the ice sheets from the panels, unzip the panels and pull out the ice. The Ice sheets can be hand washed as needed. Put the ice sheets back in the panels after washing.

**Q: Not all of the cubes are frozen when I take them out of the freezer, what can I do?**
A: If you have a cube that isn’t frozen after 12 hours in a deep freeze, give it a sharp flick with your finger. If it doesn’t crystalize on contact, place it back in the freezer and it will be frozen shortly. This is due to our use of pure water.
