Absolutely heartbreaking
This isn't the way I thought they would end this.. the ending blows your mind and that's where they end it. I'll never be able to watch this again ...

Don't have high expectations
Though I'm glad I bought this film due to the previous one not feeling complete, this one has poor audio quality due to lack of funds and it still felt rushed and I wish they could have done one more season rather than the two movies to complete this... so as a fan just don't have high expectations with this being the ending piece and go back to enjoy the 2 seasons of the show when it was rock solid.

Great movie for fans of the franchise
Just like the show. Not original voice actor for main character. Big question I had that I didn’t see is yes there is an English option. It only shows Japanese, but it is dubbed

I both love and hate this.
I love Eternally My Master because it shows Ikaros coming to the end of her emotional journey. HLP is the anime that got me into anime, and seeing this character achieve something toward which she has been struggling through the entire story is very satisfying to me. Not to mention that having the original dub cast (yes, all of them, despite what other reviews might say it is in fact the OG dub cast) reunite for this "finale" of the story felt good.I hate Eternally My Master because there is so much more in both content and meaning in the actual ending of the story, but in making this film, the studio did them dirty. First, the end of the movie is not the end of the story; there's more to it. Second, while we see what the characters are doing and a very, very truncated view of what is going on in the world around them, EMM gives absolutely zero context - there is a reason why things are happening the way they are, but the movie fails to even mention what that reason is. They do throw in one two- or three-second shot that is part of that underlying reason, but this one shot is also presented completely without context or explanation and so means absolutely nothing in the overall presentation of this movie. I'd like to think that the announced and then suddenly cancelled Season 3 would have gone into greater detail and actually wrapped up the story properly by showing the ENTIRE ending, not just the shortened, context-free and ultimately unsatisfying version we got here.If you want to round out your collection and have a little bit of a nostalgic smile for about an hour, then certainly pick this up. If however you prefer to know how the story actually ends and why, then I suggest you seek out the manga - but be aware that it never got an official English release.

Alright localization
Man, this show was really ahead of its time on humor when it came out, and it is nice to finally see Suu Minazuki get the recognition he deserves. As somebody who is a huge fan of this show. I can tell you that I was legitimately surprised to find out this movie was getting localized in the west. For starters, the movie before this, Angeloid of Clockwork, was originally the bridge between season 2 and what was supposed to be season 3 until both the budget for the show ran out and the studio making the original animation for the first two seasons and Angeloid of Clockwork left. And from what I heard, this movie didn't do great in Japan. There are TWO big problems I have with this movie in general. One, unless you read the manga after Angeloid of Clockwork, you are going to have no idea what is going on during the beginning and ending parts of this movie. Second, a little more unique to this release, NO COMIC DUB. WHY?By comic dub, I am referring to the full ending of the movie. You see, the movie just sort of awkwardly ends on a cliffhanger that they expect you to read the manga that was never officially localized in the west to wrap things up. In Japan, they included a segment called the comic dub that voices over this full ending they ran out of money to animate, and I am honestly baffled they did not include that. It just seems a little lousy they expect you to read fan translations to get the full story. As far as english dub voices go, it's pretty good, although I really think the only purpose of localizing this movie is to cash in on Suu Minazuki's other successful series, Plunderer (That's a series worth trying out, too, BTW).

Complete my collection
I only bought this so I can complete my blu-ray collection of this series and because I love the authors work. But the way they did the movie still makes me mad to this day , The animation is gorgeous don't get me wrong but the way how the ending was they should have just either not make the movie or made it as a non canon movie like some series do. I'd rather buy the whole books in physical form but to do that it's only available in Japanese because it never came out in the US at all except some of the other series that did. A decent chunk I did enjoy but just that ending and the pasing just but a bad taste in my mouth I never get this mad before for a movie but here I am , I had all of the shows and first movie so I just had to do it to the support one of my favorite authors I guess. If you enjoyed it go ahead it wouldn't be as bad but if you're a manga reader for this just know it WILL annoye you

Very funny
It was good and funny. But it needed more story didn’t seem like it had enough in it and the ending needed a after ending. I think they should have made a season 3 would have been a little more better than the movie

An English Dub, Seven Long Years Later
Aside from the beginning and end of the film or 50m special was worth watching and for the OG Dub VAs to reprise their roles one final time for this was more the reason to pick this up!
