Can it be immersed?** A: The plate only has one side that has a section for grilling and a section for searing. It does not come with more plates. The plate is removable. It can be washed with soap and water, but is not recommended to be immersed. **Q: Do you get that charbroiled grill taste when grilling meat? My friend has a Wolfgang Puck grill (more money) and the stuff has that grill taste.** A: Actually the food tastes almost as good but not quite as good as a charbroiled grill. **Q: Did anyone get a recipe book also with temperature control instructions** A: This unit does not have a recipe book. **Q: What are the step by step instructions for operating the digital touch control panel on this? How do you use the F/clock? button?** A: the Manual that comes with the grill isn’t very helpful... go to the manufacturers website and look at the video for this specific unit and you can see how to operate the temp and time. It’s more helpful than any written explanation. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect when you want to grill without the hassel. *by W***L on March 20, 2017* It's everything it claimed be. I am writing this review while grilling chicken (hot) wings. I am very pleased with this grill I have grilled everything from pork chops, hamburgers, chicken breast wings, fish and shrimp. Also made bacon (makes perfect bacon) eggs both fried and scrambled an omelet and even French toast.I put water in the tray and have never had a problem with smoke. The timer is great I can set the timer for when I expect to turn the meat. When it goes off and if I miss that it cuts the grill off avoiding burnt meat. As advertised it is very easy to clean.I do want to point out that if you plan on feeding a family of four in one sitting you will be disappointed. But for me, a widower with a teen grandson l it's perfect quick and easy to use. I am a charcoal griller this grill does not provide the charcoal grill taste but it will compete with any gas grill and weather is not a problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great but. *by C***A on June 24, 2018* Is great to reheat stuff, I try grilling meat and it's just not the same or close to using an actual fire grill. Although it works great for things such as chicken nugget, hotdogs and stuff that already cook. ### ⭐ It worked great at the first couple times of using it *by V***. on June 13, 2018* It worked great at the first couple times of using it. My family was excited. But then the temperature got unstable and took much longer time to grill. What a disappointment! Don’t recommend it --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/37255278-gourmia-digital-grill-and-griddle-combo-one-size-black](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/37255278-gourmia-digital-grill-and-griddle-combo-one-size-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
