Love RCBS Products
This scale/Dispenser replaced a very old RCBS Chargemaster that had been very reliable. All things wear out eventually. I used it for a long time and got my cost/benefit out of it. Replaced it with this Chargemaster Supreme and am super happy with it. Love all the new features, and the phone App.

A big step up from the Chargemaster 1500
I have been using an old Chargemaster 1500 to dispense charges, and then trickle up to exact weight on a lab grade scale. It is a system that works very well, but Is slow because the Chargemaster 1500 would under throw or overthrow by up to 3/4 of a grain even with the straw modification. The Chargemaster Supreme seems to be much more accurate, throwing charges that fall right in line with the lab grade scale. Out of 50 cases (308 Win using Varget), I only had three or four that needed adjustment , the rest were dead on. This is a tremendous improvement.User interface is good, but I haven't had reason to try the App. I especially like the Learn feature that throws a few charges of a powder to "optimize dispensing" of a particular powder. It's automated, and only takes a minute or two.Overall, the Chargemaster Supreme seems to throw charges of powder quickly, and accurately. I was able to increase the speed of my ammo production while still maintaining better, more consistent charge weights than before at a reasonable price.

Good scale.
Easy to use very accurate

Great accuracy and reasonable speed
Very consistent powder pours for the price. I wish it was as accurate as its more expensive brother. The speed is decent but time consuming if you are loading 200+ rounds.

Game changer for reloading!
This was a game changer for me working on reloads that needed better powder measure than the dillon progressive. You tell the machine to trickle the charge, and by the time you've seated the bullet on the last one, the new powder charge is in the pan. Easily cut my loading time in half when not using the progressive.

Awesome
Cut down on reloading tremendously

Consistently throws charges over target even after multiple "Learn" cycles.
I got this around the beginning of December 2023. The purpose for this unit was to speed up load development by rapidly dispensing 3-5 charges per weight. I started with a ball powder and did the Learn process. I then began dispensing charges. Other than throwing ball powder all over the unit, mostly because of the height of the dispensing tube above the tray, it worked well. However, when I switched to dispensing stick powder recently, it would not dispense accurately. A couple of days ago I calibrated the scale and did the Learn process *three* times during a loading session but I was unable to get it to dispense powder accurately. It consistently threw charges over the set value. I shot a video of the whole process of calibrating, "Learning", and dispensing and it only threw 3 out of 10 charges at the correct weight with the over charges from 0.4 or more grains high. I called their technical support line and, after telling them what I had already done, I was told to ship it back to them (RCBS) for replacement or refund. I tried dispensing the charges to a lower value, anticipating the "over" charge it would deliver to then trickle on a balance beam scale but this defeated the purpose of the electronic scale and wasn't any faster than simply scooping powder onto the balance beam and trickling it up from there. This is a very disappointing experience. The fact that the technical support line was unable to offer any insight into how to get it to work better combined with the fact that they didn't seem overly concerned with the problem said to me that they were used to this kind of problem. If this could dispense powders reliably, which the Learn process was supposed to adapt to different powders, this would have been a good deal. But consistenly, 70% of the time in the 10 samples I tabulated, throwing high charges makes this no better than a powder scoop. Prior to shooting a video of the failures to document them, I threw dozens of charges between the other two "calibrate and Learn" cycles with similar failure rates but I didn't document them so I can't state a percentage of failures with mathematical certainty: I can say there were a lot of charges that got dumped back into the hopper before I decided to document the whole process in a video.

Fantastic upgrade
I’m comparing this unit to the original chargemaster 1500, which I’ve had for about 15 years now. It has always been reliable but does have some drawbacks which the new unit fixed. First off the new unit is so much lighter than the old one. I was truly amazed at the weight difference. Second, the issue of overthrows have been pretty much solved with the learn programming built into the this unit. You run the program and it optimizes the charge weight based on the type of powder you’re using. It’s a three-step process to run through and it’s a little bit time consuming but I think worth it in the end. Finally they have a drain open alarm that reminds you to close the drain valve before you put in new powder. Should not repeat that mistake ever again… lol.
