The strap is a woven nylon webbing with good stitching with a nice heavy carabiner clip on the end that allows for a good amount of length adjustment to suit most requirements and it comes with a bag to store it in. I'm a big guy at 105 kg, 192 cm tall and it has no problems in assisiting my chin ups. Without the assist it's a struggle to do 1, with the band I can do 3 sets of 3. The bands having the fabric sleeve is very reassuring, in the unlikely event that a band should snap during use it's unlikely to whip you like a normal ressistance band.might. The system functions well for other training uses also and comes with a booklet showing various other exercises you can perform with the system (as long as you have somewhere safe and suitable to attach it to obviously). Each of the three bands is easily removable to vary the resistance or assistance required. In the included instructions it states do not use if you weigh over 320 lbs, and that each band provides about 56 lbs of assistance.
