It uses the same type of Mount and the original hero is not any bigger **Q: Can you mount an Akaso v50 elite to this rig?** A: If it has a threaded port for tripod mount yes it will work **Q: Is it compatible with the GoPro Hero 9? in the description it says yes, while in the image it says no.** A: There are two versions of this. You want the larger of the two to work with a GoPro 9. I use mine with a GoPro 9 in a dive housing and there's plenty of room. Just make sure you check how well the lights mount when you get it.
