I will say that these LightDims are worth getting/trying regardless. For your high heat application, perhaps finding something safe to place/slide in front of the led like a black metal bookend perhaps? There's always electrical tape (messy). I have perviously used black card stock that I folded and positioned in such a way that they held their spot (still have a couple like that). Maybe the combination of the bookend and card stock might do the trick... just be extra mindful of what is safe to put on or near a high temperature electronic.
