Found the Blu Ray player at my grandfather's house when he passed away. I had the player and all his old family videos on DVDs but the player couldn't be used without a remote which was missing. I tried using remote apps on my cell but nothing worked. This remote worked right out of the box. Well made and no programming required. RIP Tata
