## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where can i buy psu?**
A: Hi, This is the recommended PSU ASIN: B09K7FP57Y. Its rated power under 220V voltage is 2500W, but its decibel is a bit big.

**Q: The image makes no sense for power. do you hook all 8 cables to a power supply and then use another power supply to power the gpus?**
A: 2 cables get connected to the pwr in ports on the back of the board. There are a total of 8 ports, 6 are idle. Use 2 that are labeled in. The rest of your cables connect to the gpus. Hope this helps

**Q: I'm looking for the manual for this rig. Couldn't find a website or nothing anywhere. Anyone know where to get it?**
A: Just look up the manual for the motherboard. You don't need one for the whole thing.

**Q: Does the motherboard support pci express 4.0?**
A: Hello, It doesn't support pci express 4.0

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product Great Service
*by C***E on May 20, 2022*

Ordered my second rig after being very happy with the first one. Opened up the 2nd rig and installed operating system, fine tuned windows for mining etc, ran some benchmarks, and as I was relocating the rig back into my mining room I lost HDMI output and the USB terminals lost power. I did a few troubleshooting tests to narrow down what happened. After a few messages back and fourth with Chaofan Mining Customer Service we got to the bottom of the problem. The 4gb ram somehow failed and decided not to work for me anymore. Since I had an extra 4gb ram card in a box from a previous build I was able to get up and running right away. I was already very happy and satisfied with the customer service I had received and was not expecting any further assistance. Today I woke to a small refund to cover the damaged Ram. The Customer Service is spot on! 5 Star Experience again!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked as expected

The steel gauge is pretty good, but not high enough to be heavy. Fans are good, although they work as exhaust, debating on flipping them (cards exhaust out of opposite side). I built all a2000 cards with a 2000w power supply with all the ports I needed. Removed the SSD, moved a prepared Hiveos USB drive over to the system, flipped the switch and everything came on. Loaded T-Rex, it had an issue starting, updated Nvidia drivers to latest, powered down, brought back up and I was off to the races. Just under 290MH and under 575w. It's working well so far. If I don't see problems by tonight I'm going to order another one and put them both in a data center (free power space, used for another purpose)EDIT : Note, I did not wind up flipping the fans, and, so far, this seems to be fine they way they are.Updates since working with this for a while : Since the seller isn't really answering questions, I'll tell you what I've learned about this board.- If you're running something like the A2000 (the most efficient GPU on the market for mining), then you will be relying ONLY on PCIe slot power because they have no other power connections, and the board has a hard limit on those ports that prevents you from hitting the 80/85w spec for these ports normally. This will limit the hash rate to the point that the GPUs might, just barely, hit 40MH, and a lot of times will be slightly under, even though they are capable of a sustained 41MH on a normal board or riser. I constantly have to pull fan speed to get more power to the actual GPU with this config. Luckily, they are in a temp controlled data center, so I don't have to worry too much about setting the fan to 75% instead of 100%.- Other than the board slot limitation, it works great so far. I have 2 of these running in a datacenter right now, 306MH each, pulling 558w each running 8 x A2000, and they are humming alone happy as can be.If someone ever comes up with a way to mod the power delivery to those pcie ports, I would love to see it closer to 85w per port. This would bring the modded A2000 up to the point to where it could hit 50MH.Update 2 : Another rig, testing - loaded normal cards I use in it without a problem, however, I tried to test a 2080ti FE card, and it would not work on the board. Shows an error with the card. Updated nvidia driver, no dice. So far, I have no evidence that this card will work on this motherboard. Going to pull it and use it elsewhere for now, since the card does, in fact, work, but just will not work in this system so far. Hive is latest version, nvidia latest version.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Passable, but would not buy again

This case is functional. It is sturdy enough. But there are some glaring issues.Everyone who's been building computers for the last oh 30+ years knows a that cases should all use the same screws. This case comes with very small screws. They are also way too soft and strip incredibly easily. The proper case screws should be used and the case should be remachined accordingly. The power supply assembly is just terribly conceived and exectuted. The best you can hope for is a PSU that is being held in place by the tension of those way too small easily stripped screws. What should be there is a proper 2U size PSU support rails that you can actually screw the PSU into, using again the proper screws. Finally, the manual that came with this product is clearly being hand printed on a home color printer. The images are way too small. You have to read it with your headset magnifyer. You'll also need that headset mag for screwing in most of the screws because again, they are silly small and your handy dandy magnetized screw driver that perfectly fits proper case screw is of no use to you here. This unit is funcational. It fired right up. The instructions were ok. This is clearly being made by a small outfit, which I am happy to support. I got 6 GPUs running in it for now. No problem. The fans are excellent by the way. The motherboard boots super fast and the CPU seems fine for HiveOS and GPU mining. So while I won't be buying another one of these, I can't say there's anything wrong here that a little computer building knowledge, a headset flashlight with magnification and some patience can't solve.
