I wouldn't recommend purchasing these for safetys sake .mad because i bought two sets, and now I wont use the other one either . note, this was not left on the stove in a neglectufl manner, I had it on the handle of the pan for a few miutes before I took it off the stove. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but has a curveball, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2018* Read the warning when you get it. It goes into more detail, but basically you can’t expose the holder to heat from the outside, because it reflects it or something like that. The surface of the inside of the potholder (the part that touches the metal) is what gets hot and protects you from the hot metal, but if the exterior of the potholder (the part you hold) is too close to a flame or hot burner, or if it is in a hot oven, it will reflect heat off of the outside surface as well (if you pick it up or will be hot as SH$&@$??:&$)&!:!?&T and will burn the hell out of you). It says this plainly in the directions, but I did not remember reading that in the description on the product. In my opinion that means you have to keep taking it off any time it is on the stove to keep the outside from getting hot which is a hastle and can be kind of dangerous.
