However, since both the Samsung T5 and 860 EVO are both older drives and are becoming increasingly more difficult to source these days it's going to make the usefulness of this product less and less so.I found disassembling the donor T5 drive and re-assembling into the AndyCIne case easy, with around 10-15 minutes of low effort. One stumbling block was that the thermal pads supplied with the case were oversized and needed to be cut to better seat on the SSD memory chips and casing. I would also suggest placing a sheet of the thermal pad between the SSD and the AndyCine PCB sled which it mounts to, this was how the I found the T5 drive when I took it apart and will help for better heat dissipation, extending the drives life long term.Great product, great idea, recommended for any Ninja V owner. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product and highly recommend with fast drives *by A***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 November 2022* But be careful to test what your drives are capable of before trusting them in the Ninja V. And do some serious tests because even if the drives tops out at the speed you need, any dips below will lead to dropped frames and ruined footage. My T5 drives work fine. But an integral drive I bought as a back up doesn't work reliably at the higher end of ProRes HQ (see the screenshot). Based on the Black Magic software, I'd almost assume that the top end is aspirational, the one bellow is iffy, and two below is safe. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Neat solution *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 November 2021* I was using the standard plastic cady and full size ssd with my Ninja V and was OK with that but needed a second drive and therefore another plastic cady, but they come in a pack of 5 for £25 and that price for so little irked me a bit. Then I spotted the Andycine metal cady for not much more - I liked the look of it and although the T5 SSD, which you need to purchase to obtain a drive which will fit, is more expensive than other options, I thought I'd give one a go.Dismantling the T5 drive is easy enough and the swap into the new housing was straight forward, only took about 5-10 mins. I like that I don't have the HD sticking out the side of the Atomos and it sits there on the back more securely than the overside original plastic caddy. It's a nice thing.
