These will work with your WAN SFP+, even if your modem does not deliver 10G. The USG Pro will only negotiate 1G and 10G on the WAN SFP+ port. I think this is also true for the USW Agg. What I think is important is that the SFP module itself negotiates with the Unifi device at 10G but then downgrades the copper connection to whatever it needs to be. This SFP module appears in my controller as operating at 10G, yet I know it's truly 2.5G on the copper side. This reporting behavior may be a concern for some users, so beware. Regardless, a standard 2.5G SFP module was not working for me to utilize my 2Gbps connection with Xfinity. This module however works great. It negotiates 2.5G with my modem, and reports 10G to the USG.
