From introductions of basic concepts such as syntax, nomenclature, to overall architecture. The way concepts are presented in quickly reusable snippets, make them relative throughout many aspects of day-to-day deployment and management of AWS resources. The AWS jargon was a bit advanced and not always explained. It relies heavily on prepped code samples. The discussion sections came after the recipe steps. I would have preferred more of this type of explanation before the steps. That said, when I started focusing on the recipe concepts (as opposed to actually executing each recipe), there are a lot of great applied ideas and there is good, strategic coverage of the vast array of AWS offerings. I am more familiar with Azure, but this book had me searching for possible Azure equivalents. The discussion sections came after the recipe steps. I would have preferred more of this type of explanation before the steps.
