It folds easily and I am able to use it in portrait mode which was a primary consideration. The best thing about it was the fact that the magnetic closure actually works and turns off the iPad. The color of my rose gold device shows through and the case cover matches it very well. In fact, I would have given it 5 stars but while traveling I found a corner of the case had chipped. Not so bad because it still holds well but now 3 of the 4 corners have developed cracks. I thought polycarbonate was one of the more durable plastics but it did not hold up well. I am still using the case because it is holding the iPad and still closes very well, but this case should not have cracked after only 4 months use. I have been trying to add photos but either my computer isn't functioning well enough to let me, or the add photo button here isn't working well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally! The origami design works for standing in different positions. The smart cover function works, putting the ipad to sleep when the cover is closed.Unfortunately, this case has an achilles heel that seems to be common among cases of this design - the plastic back cover cracks easily. After about 1 week of ownership, I noticed that the corner near the on/off button was cracked through, and this was without any drops or other traumatic events. The same thing happened with the Moshi origami case I used for my last ipad.
