Review: Do not buy if you are a serious baker! - I’ve had a KitchenAid mixmaster for over 40 years and I finally had to buy a new one. Unfortunately, the quality is not there anymore. This KitchenAid can barely mix chocolate chip cookie dough without struggling and jumping around. Don’t even think about trying to make sandwich bread. I’m pretty sure it would burn the motor out in no time. desertcart only has a one month return window which is completely unfair for a purchase like this considering you need to use it to know how it works. Mine is less than four months old and I will be giving it away to someone who only bakes occasionally not weekly. I do love the color, but I am super bummed about the quality.

**Q: Service contract expired, what can you do about the oil leaking from mixer?**

A: My old Kitchenaid pasta attachment broken last Dec, now I take another inexpensive one from FavorKit brand, 3 functions set only cost me $70. No problem till now after 6 months use

**Q: what is the main difference between the artisan series and the 500 professional series? also which one is newer?**
A: The wattage of the motor is the difference. The artisan series motor wattage is 325; 500 professional series 450 and the 600 professional series is 575.

A: From what I've read about your model they recommend #9708471/ a 'C hook' / I wouldn't use anything that is longer than 8 1/2 inches since your bowl is listed as 8 2/3 deep

I’m loving this mixer! I spoiled myself with a new gadget- best mixer around- this mixing bowl is bigger than my last kitchen aid mixer- my daughter has that one now- best mixer around- and they last- the one I gave my daughter was 9 yrs old and she thought it looked and worked brand new- the mixer color green is perfect- I use my mixers a lot- I’m anticipating this will last just as long as my previous mixer. I’d say I use it at least 3x week- worth the money- it lasts!
