The person which asked this question needs professional help / has fun and perhaps did not read the specs of the item to find out where and how is supposed to be used. Or, perhaps - if the above mentioned rats are capable to read, understand, and follow commands in English, you could emboss on the tape something bilingual like: Cuidado!/Attention! Rats/Ratones! Pls. don't chew my electrical cable! It is dangerous for you and us and you can get electrocuted, and you can burn our house too!
