## Description

This 8.5" diameter dome lamp is made of heavy gauge painted aluminum. Ceramic socket can be used with incandescent bulbs, ceramic heat emitters, and compact fluorescent bulbs. Rated up to 150watts.

Review: The clamp lamp shades to buy - Fluker's Repta-Clamp Lamp - Very well made clamp light. Packaging was good and protected the shades. Porcelain sockets are heavy and manage heat well. Used these with 150w heat lamps and had no issues. Ventilation holes near the socket allows the shades to stay cool. The clamp was heavy duty with a nice strong clamp strength. It was easy to aim the shade and then lock it into position. I have only used for 2 weeks but I am sure these will last a long time.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone used this with a ceramic heat emitter?  If so, how was it?**
A: It works really well. I've used it with 75W, 100W, and 150W ceramic heat emitters. Keep in mind their 5" is rated for 75W, so go beyond that at your own risk. (The socket says 250V/660W, and an 18AWG wire should be fine up to 1200W.)

**Q: Does it come with a bulb?**
A: No, bulb is not included. Package contains the fixture (with attached reflector bowl) and clamp.

**Q: How long is the power cord?**
A: I wanna say like 7-8 feet ( like a lamp cord .

**Q: Has anyone tried using with a smart plug? Does it work?**
A: Mine is connected to a thermostat, which controls it based on the temperature in the enclosure, and it works.
