Review: One Star - Terrible chair Review: Mesh is the way to go! - The mesh is cool and comfortable, and depending on your height and what you need in a chair, this chair could work just fine. The chair advertised a head rest and the way it worked was quite ingenious. But it wasn't high enough for me. The biggest problem, and why I had to return it, was the seat tilt. Although I could manually move the seat tilt to be comfortable, the seat would not stay in that position. It would fall at the front to another setting. With that setting I was uncomfortably pitching forward. Other than that, the chair is well-designed, easy to assemble, and the other levers and adjustments worked quite well. ## Features - Sitting Posture Warning Sensors, Smart Seat Depth Adjustment, - Neckrest Height Adjustment, Backrest Tilt Tension Adjustment, Backrest Tilt Angle Adjustment, Seat Front Angle Adjustment, - Armrest Height Adjustment, Armrest Angle Adjustment, Armrest Forward And Backward Adjustment, Armrest Swivel Adjustment, - Synchronized Recline, - Lumbar Support height Adjustment, ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01J6DLH9Y | | Additional Features | Arm Rest, Swivel | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Arm Style | With arms | | Brand | GM Seating | | Brand Name | GM Seating | | Color | Gray Mesh | | Customer Reviews | 3.2 out of 5 stars 5 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Mesh | | Fill Material | Foam | | Form Factor | Recliner | | Furniture Base Movement | Swivel | | Furniture Finish | Chrome | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Electric | No | | Is Foldable | No | | Item Dimensions | 27 x 25 x 40 inches | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 27"D x 25"W x 40"H | | Item Weight | 60 Pounds | | Manufacturer | GM Seating | | Manufacturer Part Number | GM-BODY-GY | | Material | Mesh | | Material Type | Mesh | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 120 Pounds | | Model Number | GM-BODY-GY | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Wipe Clean | | Product Dimensions | 27"D x 25"W x 40"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Office | | Room Type | Office, Study Room | | Seat Material | Foam | | Special Feature | Arm Rest, Swivel | | Surface Recommendation | Hard Floor | | Tilting | Yes | | UPC | 722512413580 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GM Seating - **Color:** Gray Mesh - **Product Dimensions:** 27"D x 25"W x 40"H - **Special Feature:** Arm Rest, Swivel - **Product Care Instructions:** Wipe Clean ## Images ![Bodylux Smart Task Hi Swivel Office Work Chair Chrome Base with Headrest (Black) (Grey Mesh) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81H0NF-1NRL.jpg) ![Bodylux Smart Task Hi Swivel Office Work Chair Chrome Base with Headrest (Black) (Grey Mesh) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81j17Vsw6vL.jpg) ![Bodylux Smart Task Hi Swivel Office Work Chair Chrome Base with Headrest (Black) (Grey Mesh) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jzCy8VrYL.jpg) ![Bodylux Smart Task Hi Swivel Office Work Chair Chrome Base with Headrest (Black) (Grey Mesh) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81wKcYidMRL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ One Star *by J***. on March 18, 2017* Terrible chair ### ⭐⭐⭐ Mesh is the way to go! *by P***C on March 14, 2017* The mesh is cool and comfortable, and depending on your height and what you need in a chair, this chair could work just fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good chair with a couple of improvements that could be made. *by A***S on April 28, 2017* The posture warning device is pretty cheesy and I found myself disabling it the second time it went off (it sounds like an APC alarm when you switch to battery). The comfort of the chair would likely be very nice if it had a taller back for someone my height (6'1"). The chair does have a lot of adjustments which makes it capable of suiting a wide array of folks. The recline feature could use improvement as the first place you can lock in the back angle is too far forward and the second is too far back, for me any way. The chair is comfortable and I would recommend it to someone around the 5'10" or less area. At my height I will continue to use it while understanding the back height could be better. I have quite a few high priced desk chairs and this one is better than some. I tend to lean towards the Aeron by Herman Miller more than this one overall but I wanted a leather chair so I tried this one out. The best feature for me is when I have the recline feature open to be able to rock or lean all the way back. If I scrunch down just a bit or move my bottom forward a touch the back is sufficient for a long telephone conversation or relaxing for a moment. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/38443338-bodylux-smart-task-hi-swivel-office-work-chair-chrome-base](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/38443338-bodylux-smart-task-hi-swivel-office-work-chair-chrome-base) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
