I just used painter’s tape from the dollar store to keep the paint from getting anywhere other than the soles. I did about 3 thin coats total with a small flat brush and it turned out great! Didn’t dilute the paint just cleaned and applied. It made them look brand new. Without all the old shoe polishing. Seems flexible. Don’t know about the durability yet. Painted a couple coats of the leather paint on them and no one would ever know. It worked perfectly! I let them dry for a couple days before wearing them.
