Review: 100% recommendations - I would say it’s my son in law choice and we love this product Review: Don’t buy. Major bug makes unusable. - Apparently there’s a known bug where the device constantly resets itself, and there’s no amount of tweaking the settings you can do to fix it, making the device unreliable in an actual network. Don’t waste your money. At this point go UniFi, or use packet tracer if you want to lab. Since I can’t return it, this is just sitting on a shelf, useless. ## Features - SWITCH PORTS: 8-Port 10/100/1000 + 2 x 1G SFP - POWER-OVER-ETHERNET: 8 PoE ports with 65W total power budget, PoE, PoE+ - SIMPLE: Intuitive on-box UI, mobile app and Cisco Business Dashboard simplifies network operations and automates lifecycle management - SECURITY: Integrated with IEEE 802.1X to control access to your network, Denial-of- Service (DoS) attack prevention increases network uptime during an attack, while Access Control Lists (ACLs) protect the network from unauthorized users - INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Elegant and compact design, ideal for installation outside of wiring closet such as retail stores, open plan offices, and classrooms - ENERGY EFFICIENT: Optimizes power usage to lower operational cost. Major bug makes unusable. *by L***K on September 30, 2026* Apparently there’s a known bug where the device constantly resets itself, and there’s no amount of tweaking the settings you can do to fix it, making the device unreliable in an actual network. Don’t waste your money. At this point go UniFi, or use packet tracer if you want to lab. Since I can’t return it, this is just sitting on a shelf, useless. ### ⭐⭐ Frequent restarts *by C***I on March 2, 2024* On my home network this unit resets every hour or or two. After working with Cisco, including getting a new unit, the issue has not been resolved. I can see from the output on the console that the kernel is crashing. Updating firmware did not help. Be sure to return to Amazon if you see this behavior. I’m stuck with the Cisco warranty which has been a painful process.. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cisco Business CBS220-8P-E-2G Smart Switch | 8 Port GE | PoE | 2x1G SFP | 3-Year Limited Hardware Warranty (CBS220-8P-E-2G-NA) - CISCO DESIGNED Business CBS220-24P-4G Smart Switch | 24 Port GE | PoE | 4x1G SFP | 3-Year Limited Hardware Warranty (CBS220-24P-4G-NA) - CyberPower OR500LCDRM1U Smart App LCD UPS, 500VA/300W, 6 Outlets, AVR, 1U Rackmount --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/384992824-cisco-business-cbs220-8p-e-2g-smart-switch-8-port](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/384992824-cisco-business-cbs220-8p-e-2g-smart-switch-8-port) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
