This pillow was wonderful for keeping my head in a comfortable upright position. I also found that it works great in my jetted soaker tub! I think this would be excellent in the car but have not done that as of yet.I have not used the pillow for travel(airline) so I cannot comment on that. Within 3 days I repaired at least 8 small punctures or splits in the seam. I finally gave up and just threw the pillow in the trash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Total Pillow is very stiff when you get it. I figured out how to soften it. *by G***K on Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2018* I placed the pillow on the floor and walked on it very carefully with my bare feet. This squeezed the little foam balls that are inside of it and flattened them out. The more I walked on it the better it got. I did this three times to get it where I wanted it. Now it is very soft and flexible. I love it now! I had rotator cuff surgery and must sleep in a recliner.
