We have a 14” thick king size bed and the sheets don’t pull off while laying in the bed. Authentic 1000 count sheet sets become softer the more you wash them. Follow the instructions the company sends with the sheets to help break them in right out of the box. Their guidance really helps soften them. These are real cotton and they are on the thicker side that should last a few years but not too thick to where you’re hot all night. They have sewn in pockets on each side of the bed near the head to hold a remote or a cell phone. These sheets have stripes so if they are running from your head to toe then they are on correct. The quality and comfort is too tier. Since I’m getting older now I realize how valuable sleep is and if you’re not comfortable your following day is going to be dreadful. Sorry for the long review but if I’m spending this much money on sheets I want someone to be honest with me so here I am trying to help.
