I'm male, 5'9", 160lbs and I'm not too skinny nor am I'm muscular - I guess average. The shoulder part has much room for adjustment and I was able to get that to fit perfect. The part that goes around the mid section is too big for me (I have no belly). However, it's workable for me and for someone bigger around the mid section there is some room. This is advertised as "fits most" and I would agree with that. With the current picture of the product as I write this is of a guy that obviously looks like he has worked out (wish that was me!)... I would say that that would be the maximum body size for this brace. Overall, I like it. And it is "stretchy to a point" so that you don't walk around looking like a robot but still have a better posture. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Works, but there's gotta be better *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2017* This works to support my back and has helped lessened my back pain. However the design is very flawed and could be a lot better. As a result, I wouldn't recommend this unless it's exactly in your price point.The shoulder straps have no structure and therefore instantly bunch up, creating a pressure point at the tendon under your arm. Also, the lower area where the shoulder strap connects to the body is a large metal link. Because it's way oversized, the strap also bunches up on both sides of this thing making it difficult to get a fully tight fit (which is the point when trying to hold your shoulders back...). Finally, the velcro around the midsection is really thick and you'll need oversized shirts in order to hide it.These problems could have been easily fixed with a better design. Thicker, more structured shoulder straps (think like a backpack). A smaller link to prevent the strap from bunching and turning sideways. Since this brace was offered in all different sizes, I selected a size L/XL. Imagine my surprise, when my dad, who is not a big man, called me saying he was only able to fit one arm into the armhole, and it was way too small for him. I drove to my dad's house to double check the situation, thinking that my dad had forgotten to undo the underarm loops, but I was wrong. It was not a case. When I looked closely, I noticed a label "ONE SIZE FITS MOST", which was a complete misrepresentation, since this item was offered in different sizes. The size my dad received would fit a size 8 very slender male or female. The belt was "missing" about 5-7 inches from each side (for the sides of this brace to meet).I ordered this item in hopes of helping my dad to improve his posture and some back problems, but I just wasted my time and money.I can't claim that this brace works or does not work, as the intended recipient could not even try it, let alone wear it due to the wrong sizing, but I can say that overall the quality of his brace is well-made and may potentially help wearers with their posture problems.
