I'm a homeowner that needs to install a central air conditioning system. That means I need to work with the copper line set. Enter the world of brazing!I already have a full size oxygen / acetylene torch rig, but I wanted a one stop shop "KIT" that would be more HVAC focused. HVAC Brazing needs a good portable torch with well over 1000* temps to braze the copper to copper joints on an air conditioning system. R410a systems really needs be brazed vs. something like 8% soldering too. Soft solder is typically easier to work with, but not really the "right" thing to do with modern equipment.I bought this kit as comes with everything except a tank and gas! Similar turbo torch kits without the tank cart are more expensive too! The auto clicker torch lighter DOES WORK, you just need to have enough gas flow!! If the gas flow is too low, it'll POP and not light the torch. Turn up the pressure on the regulator and open the handle valve more.As others have reported, the packaging isn't good enough and the handle gets smashed so the ball detent clicker things don't lock the handle, I'll rig something to work around that.I've brazed a few test copper joints and looks like this setup will work GREAT! The turbo torch seems to be more fool proof and less likely to screw something up vs an oxygen & acetylene setup.

This is an incredible buy. In a plumbing apprentice and use this weekly. First off, the price is incredible, almost cheaper than buying just the torch. The value is definitely there. Second, it is so convenient. It is great to just throw everything you need to sweat on the cart. The only criticism is that the pockets aren't the most convenient to do add everything on the cart. A designated flux cup bucket would be nice. Finally, the features are great. It has a spot for the hose, a metal box to hold hot torch tips, it comes with both tips used for most sweating jobs, and the luggage style set up is just great. Otherwise, the value and features are incredible. I hope I don't have to, but I would buy this again.

Got it for hubby whose doing plumbing at work. Works great! Comes with 2 heads to start which is really nice since i dont want to throw couple more hundred bucks right away. The ones they come with are perfect for start. The roll case is great too. Really easy to move around.
